This is, personally, one of my favorite pieces that my Nanna's collection has to offer. I've only seen 3 of these in my lifetime, 2 of which I will be selling. Vintage Italian Hallmarked Silver “Wiggle Fish” Pendant with hidden compartment at the mouth, typically used to insert perfume soaked cloth. This piece has red inlay eyes that shine beautifully when held up to the light. Features silver hallmark "(STAR) 221 AR", signifying its Italian origin and sterling silver authenticity. This piece has the capability of moving and "wiggling" its tail and body, due to the multiple sections of the piece being held together by pins.
Please note, due to its age and usage there is tarnishing and patina that may not come out when polished, as typical with vintage jewelry pieces.
